The size 11 O-Ring is a DuPont™ Kalrez® perflouroelastomer part (black).It has excellent chemical resistance, good mechanical properties and outstanding thermal stability.Kalrez® 4079 exhibits low weight loss in reactive plasmas and has good response to temperature cycling effects.With its broad temperature range it is ideally suited as the O-Ring component material in the Rapiscan Itemiser 4DX.As always, consult your manual when changing this O-Ring.

A durometer scale is a type of measurement of rubber material hardness.Generally, most rubber materials fall under the rubber durometer scale of Shore A.70-durometer hardness should be used as it offers the best combination of properties for most O-Ring applications.The O-Ring used in the Rapiscan Itemiser 4DX measures 70 on the Duro Shore A scale and is the ideal material for this operator maintenance item.As with the Kalrez size 11 O-Ring, consult your manual when changing this part.
