Itemiser 5X parts are designed to be used as part of routine equipment maintenance. Manufacturer recommended weekly maintenance consists of cleaning touchscreen and device, checking supply of consumables, cleaning or replacing fan filter, removing desorber, nozzle ring nut and nozzle to clean or replace, and calibrating. Suggested monthly maintenance includes checking dopant levels, replacing the filter, replacing the mesh screen, checking flow and calibrating. If filters, dopants or nozzle screens are no longer serviceable, you should order a replacement part right away. TSA Trace recommends keeping additional replacement parts on hand during maintenance procedures in order to prevent equipment downtime. All parts listed on our website are designed to be used in the field and do not require installation by Rapiscan techs.
