Description

The nozzle screen kit contains six (6) specially designed screens protecting most unwanted dust and dirt particles from entering the detection of the Itemiser DX. The use of a screen on the Itemiser DX versus the membrane on previous Rapiscan Systems (Morpho Detection) trace detection equipment coupled with significant changes in the flow through the system's detector loop allow for a much improved detection sensitivity. Under normal conditions, the nozzle screen should be replaced during monthly maintenance.
