Cotton Gloves for ETD Operation and Cleaning

Cotton gloves are necessary during operation and maintenance of Rapiscan Systems’ (previously Morpho Detection) trace detection equipment in order to avoid unwanted contamination from the operator. Cotton gloves are required when handling sample, calibration or verification traps to prevent contaminants from interfering with the performance of the Itemiser trace detector. Cotton Gloves help to minimize the possibility of cross-contamination of the Itemiser DX, helping to eliminate false positive alarms.
